Building Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for routine maintenance and janitorial duties, setting up and tearing down of chairs, tables, and other equipment for events held at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum, and other maintenance tasks to assist Building Operations department. This position also will execute shipping, receiving, and delivery of books for the Publishing Department.

The Manager of Building Operations works closely with the Vice President of Building Operations and is responsible for the operations of building systems, including managing and executing regular maintenance in addition to planned maintenance contracts with outside vendors. This position is responsible for managing set-up, tear down, and clean-up of internal and special events at the Museum and wholesale book shipping and receiving.

Museum Experience

Gaylord-McCasland Teacher Fellows will design curriculum and complimentary activities for Oklahoma Hall of Fame exhibits and projects. Fellows will work under the direction of the Manager of Program Outreach, but may also work with the Director of Museum Experience, the Archives department, and the Manager of Museum Education.
