Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is located in the state's Green Country region. The town site was sold in 1902 and named for a community of Creek Native Americans relocated from Alabama along the Trail of Tears. Today, it is known for its green vegetation, hills, and lakes, and its history includes the former Haskell State School of Agriculture.
