Apache

Apache, Oklahoma, is a town located 23 miles north of Lawton. Before its opening on August 1, 1901, the land was part of the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache Reservation. The local Apache Tribe of Oklahoma is known for community activities like annual pow-wows and excelling in traditional arts and crafts.
