Ada

Ada, Oklahoma, is the capital of the Chickasaw Nation and home to East Central University. Named after an early settler's daughter, Ada Reed, the city was incorporated in 1901 and grew with the arrival of the railroad. It is a city of around 16,500 residents known for its sparse suburban feel and parks.
